About This Piece

This painting features the Pied Piper of Hamelin and several children following him.

The Pied Piper leads a procession of children through the village of Hamelin, Germany, in this colorful representation of Robert Browning’s famous poem based on a legend. Restoration of the mural in 1990 was funded by a grant from the Colorado Council on the Arts and Humanities and Edward Malley.
