About This Piece

Slated 2025. Seven parts to this sculptural work, in front of the library, inside the library and behind the library.

From the artist, “Concrete and Steel is conceptual — a line of sight established by six separate sculptural forms. The line penetrates walls, interior and exterior. It articulates the building and the building speaks through it. It speaks of space age technology, scientific hardware, investigation and discovery — of the people of Montbello and the Library.”
