About This Piece

“Drums of Piece and Dignity” – a tower of colorfully painted drums – is carved from a cottonwood log by a chainsaw and chisel. The piece, by Nick Vigil, was the first art project under the auspices of the Cole Revitalization Demonstration to reinvigorate the Cole community.
