About This Piece

These sculptural and figurative monuments by Leo Lentelli are a tribute to agriculture and mining.

The Gateway honors banker Dennis Sullivan and was built in 1917. The gateways sports two pillars atop of which statues depicting Mining and Agriculture are mounted. “Agriculture” is the pair of women and “Mining” is the pair of men on the other side of the street.
